The Community Saint Joseph from Roman is formed from friars-priests, seminarians and aspirants of Saint Joseph Congregation, belonging to Italian Province. They established in Romania in 1998 at Popesti-Leordeni and in 2001 at Roman.
The Josephine Congregation mission is to experiment that The God loves each and every one of us, in a personal way, in each moment, infinite and gracious. From here results their mission, namely to receive and give to others the infinite love of God.
In Romania, the Josephine Congregation activity heads on two directions: they directly involve in the spiritual formation of the younger generation, in align with the Catholic communities and on the other hand – for the educative, cultural, social and charitable activities, the Leonardo Murialdo Congregation was created.
Among the activities of spiritual formation we can enumerate: spiritual guidance, self-communion, religious teachings, cultural activities with a spiritual tint, activities related to big religious holidays, the implication of the children and teenagers in the spiritual activities of the dioceses and those of roman-catholic parishes, the youth liturgy, the preparation for the Christian life and the life of family.
Besides these, the Josephine Congregation offers hospitality, in the spirit of Evangelist and other religious communities, for programs of spiritual guidance, in accordance to Congregation vocation.
